I'm gettin my first tat on wed., the artist that's doing it has a website, http://www.davidparkerart.com , what do ya'll think??
except in 10 years when you realize you paid $300 for something that doesnt mean shit to you.The guy's work looks top notch. Don't insult him by getting something lame. Go to him with an idea, and let him draw it his way. No armbands, no tribal, no barbed wire or rebel flags. You can get that crap from any hacker, so like I said, don't insult the guy or you won't get his best work.
Bring a minimum of 300 bucks, and tell him your budget is 250. Make sure you tip him the other 50. His work is worth it. Again, let him design the tattoo his way. You'll be glad you did.
Thats pretty much it, After awhile you forget you even have one. I was at a bike rally (Iron Horse) and this girl wanted to get one. She didn't want to do it alone and asked me to get one also. I said why not. I don't care if I have one or not.except in 10 years when you realize you paid $300 for something that doesnt mean shit to you.
i dont know what i want yet...but right now ive been thinking on getting a cross with my nana's name in it..im undecided...I'm curious as to what you're getting also.
Been contemplating about getting a pair of ambigrams tatoo'd on me for a while now.
my ribs were the worst thing i went through, up until i got my hands lol. after my hands though my 3/4 sleeve felt like nothingtattooing is very addicting. ive got maybe 50 hours on the bench and i gotta admit the 2 hours working on my ribs was worse than the other 48 on the rest of me.
PUSSY!jaja, i'll try not to... i'm probably gonna take some pills and numb out my arm.
Might as well paint your self pinkSo getting drunk is no longer an option, any ideas of how to minimize pain? lol
His work is good but what do you plan on getting? From your posts about worry about the pain maybe a lick and stick tatt would be better for you.yeah, well if you didn't read, doping out is not an option, and yeah the outline will take about 2 hours the artist said, but not a total of 14 hours. Oh well, i'm not really concerned w/the pain. I came to ask what ya'll thought about the work the artist has done.
So getting drunk is no longer an option, any ideas of how to minimize pain? lol

Agreed, if it's well thought out you won't regret it and it'll still have meaning. Not true. If he takes his time choosing his tattoo, and gets something that means something to him, he'll be glad he did. I have tattoos that are almost 15 years old, and people still say WOW when they see them. That's why it's important to let the artist go with the design, and let him get pumped about doing it.
300 bucks? For something that lasts forever? Hell, I bet you can remember throwing things in the trash that cost more than that.
How bad do you miss the >300 bucks that you've spent on weed, or gas, or McDonald's? If you spent that money on a nice tattoo, you'd still have something to show for it.
