Getting everything right.

I just want to know what I need to do everything right and not half assed. My truck has a 110 amp alternator with the stock battery. I'm going to be running 600rms to a 10in sub and 300rms to the components. Daily it wont be pushed very hard.

First, do I need a better battery? If so what type?

Should I run the power and ground from the battery or ground somewhere close to the amps?

The amps are going under the seats so the wire will be pretty short. I have an amp kit with 4 gauge and a 100 amp fuse and a block with 4 in/out, would I need more than that?

Thanks for any help.
