yea but none of the places will install without buying from them, and it wouldnt be bad to have a warranty

that aint true. you could go anywhere and just ask them to install for you. they'll do it. but of course the price might be higher than if you didnt buy from them. mine comes with a warranty as long as it is installed by a authorized dei dealer. just go to a local audio store (dei authorized probably in your case) and just buy from them. you'll get it cheaper for sure.

well 1st thing i asked my store and they WILL NOT install it unless you buy from them so dont say $*it unless you know what your talking about, and i havnt checked the prices at the dei authorized places, just asked a little back and they wont install it unlesds u buy from them, but will call sometime to see the price

Trust me, have the same place install it that you bought it from.

If you walk into a shop with an alarm in your hand, ask them to install it, I'd wager that:

A) They'll charge you more to install it then they would if you bought it off of them

B) You have a problem with the alarm, they could possibly tell you tough luck you didn't buy the product from us.

Having the same place install it that you bought it from insures you a lifetime warranty on the alarm from DEI, as well as in most cases, a hassle free warranty from whoever installed it.

dude, what the hell is your problem. No where in there was he arguing with you. He was simply saying that the stores he has gone to said they will not install it unless he bought the alarm from them. How in the hell can you tell him that he is wrong. He is the one that went there or called them up and asked. I know alot of shops around here will also not install an alarm unless you buy it from them just because of the hassle they have to go through.

So get off of bamaboy's case.
