Getting a new setup - Need advice

All right, i'm looking to get a new setup for my car, wanting to go with a single 15" sub and monoblock amp. What would be a good 15" sub and amp to go with? I'm looking in the 500 dollar range. Can anyone lead me in the right direction for a good company that may sell a more quality product that isnt well known and cheaper to get their name out there.

If you look around you can do a soundstream setup which will be a T5 15 and a 1500D for around 500.
