getting a credit card??

how the hell am i suppose to get credit? i'm 20 years old and every credit place says i don't have any credit history or established credit. how the hell am i suppose to establish credit if nobody will give me credit?

that's the problem. nobody will give me a card or a loan. i always have to hit up my parents to get the loan for me.

you can get a card, it might not have a credit limit or an interest rate worth a shit, but you can get one.

I suggest getting one of those high interest rate cards and pay it off every month before you get those interest charges. just use it for gas or something. After 6 months ~ a year your credit rating will have built up some.

Don't have them get the loan for you, have them co-sign with you. It will still report on your credit report under your name if you just have them co-sign.

Likewise for a credit card; have them guaranty the card. It will still report on your credit report if they guaranty the card.

That's what co-signers/guarantors are for.

Not true. I'm in the same boat. "Insufficient Credit History". I ended up going through my bank. Low credit is better than no credit I suppose.
