getting a battery, need opinions

so anytime i get a new car the first thing i do i get an optima battery for it. im wondering if getting a CA battery instead would be a better investment. i dont intend to run 2 batteries ever, and ive always have really good luck with optimas.

What kind of power are you running?

the most i plan on running will be a SAZ-1500 and SAX-125.4. tops would be 2Kw and thats pushing it. the misses doesnt like loud music...

I ran fine on a single Advance Auto Autolite AGM battery. Cost: $180. I also ran fine on the stock battery. I never noticed a difference. I push a JL 1000/1 and a PDX4. No issue with lights dimming. No power issues even when running the factory alternator. If you have not replaced the Big 3, it probably doesn't matter what battery you have either way. Have you already done that?
