My budget is 300 shipped and will buy used. Im not trying to kill my ears 90% of the time but there always is that other 10% of the time , ).i drive a malibu so I wont need more than 1 solid 12 in a custom ported box for whichever sub i get. Ill be getting a sub that has amazing SQ and lows. Looking for something that is rated anywhere from 1000-1500 rms. My amp throws out 1200-1400 @ 1 ohm but I have stock alt stock bat which means probably cant get more than 1000 anyways(correct me if im wrong, just taking a guess). Im thinking about either getting an ascendant audio havoc or lms-r currently. What do you think I should go with? Or do you have Reccomendations for something else? Thx a lot.

also, im not looking to buy from some unkown brand or mainstream obv. I'll be going with a well known sub. I dont buy subs subs every month like im sure some people do on here and plan on using her for at least a year so I'm not going to take any kind of risk with some random that isnt well known. Never even saw dayton havoc when i looked it up on google. Already had an idmax, thing wasnt even loud at all. Lightning audio? no thx man. custom tc9, send pics. Keep em comin!

what kind of malibu do you have? mine's an '07, and the stock electrical is surprisingly very good. I've been running close to 1400 rms, with no dimming or voltage drops. Be careful of roof rattle though, my Malibu has it like crazy. Like mylows said, look into DC. He's also an AB dealer, those are great. Look into AQ, Sundown, FI. Some of my favorites.

why no thanks on the lightning audio, it is a tc sounds driver

its a tc3000/axis which is a much nicer sub than the lms-r and tc9 imho

I decided to go with this bad a$$ and it will be here friday FS; 12'' 3HP Subwoofers, eclipse and audiopulse - Car Audio Classifieds Ill post a detailed vid for you kids. It will handle 2000 RMS and supposedly it was made to be like a tc sounds axis, at least thats what the maker said. Alec14, this is the malibu I have in the attached pic. Is this the same as yours? if so, are you saying the stock electrical with the car on and alternator(i never play the subs with the car off and battery alone) can run up to 1400 rms with on problems??View attachment 26541262
