Any recommendations?

Ive been looking at the Waterloo Magnum series and am leaning heavily towards getting one. Just wondering what other people have to say. I am not getting a cheap box. This will be used everyday all day and I want it to last.

I have a couple decent toolboxes. One is a chinese stainless steel box, built pretty well, think I paid $650 for the roll-around + upper-box. Been pleasantly surprised with its quality, given it was chinese and so cheap. Hammerhead brand iirc. I also have a decent craftsman I paid $900 for that still feels new after 4-5 years of use (not every day though). But seems a lot of the 'professionals' these days think if you dont have a $7k snap-on box, you just have crap. *shrug*

I inherited a few Kennedy's from my old man when he died. He was an old-school machinist and they were top of the line boxes 20-30 years ago. Not sure if they still make good boxes, but those old ones are built like a tank.

I make all of my own toolboxes. Not very hard to assemble some sheet-metal and paint. Last one I made just has 3 big trays with separaters and wheels, I like it. Having a mobile one is very nice if you're ever working in multiple spots or a large area or just moving around a lot. If you're just sticking to the garage for your tools than a nice solid steel toolbox is prob best. I just never have the money to spend on one and they can be done so fast and easy with sheet-metal that I don't mind replacing them when they go bad just my .02
