Get a thread stickied (good idea for classifieds)

If its like that for a week, the price of stickies goes up next week. Eventually it will hit a point where it still draws money yet doesn't clutter the top of the classifieds. Might take a few weeks to figure that price but its for a good cause, quit bein such a whiner.

i say try it starting in october till december just for the final quarter of the year. if all works well you can keep it going. only downside is ther moderation participation. i'm sure after a while slacking will occur.

This is exactly why. Also, people not familiar with the forum might not understand and it will look like the forum never changes. I for one would grow tired of sifting through the stickies to get to the "meat' of the forum.

If your items aren't selling on this board, with this amount of traffic then you obviously have nothing but crap to sell or are asking too much and a sticky ain't gonna help you. If you pay attention you will notice that the good stuff sells within hours, if not minutes, of being posted. Save the price of a sticky and knock the money off your asking price. This way you might sell something and give a good deal to someone in the community who can use it.
