Get a thread stickied (good idea for classifieds)

how about having choices with diff prices for stickie and highlighted threads that have diff options like jbizzle suggested

I was thinking something along the lines of...
$3 for a single day

$20 for a week

$50 for until you sell your items or ask for it to be removed.

i'd say like 15 for a week, you only save a dollar by doing it everyday for a week...

The only options that the board software is currently capable of is time of sticky. Its manual at that...this would be all me, or another mod if they wish to help.

I say put a limit of x number of stickies at a time to keep from clogging the f/s section up though.

PBnation does this, its called gold ups.

But they also make you pay to search too.....

You can limit the number of stickies by adjusting the price of them. If you have too many people buying stickies, then raise the price until you have a price that matches the demand you want.

i don't think he was suggesting to make people pay to search, just saying that pbnation does it, so are we sure its a good idea to have "gold ups" like them

Pilot it...see how it goes. I still say the daily's would be too much hassle. Make the cheap ***** buck up for the weekly at least.
