What is the QTS requirement for infinite baffle?

Generally qts above .7 and high qms are good for infinite baffle. Make sure the volume is greater than vas for the "infinite" part so box volume greater than 6.28cf for that particular sub.

QTS of .78 - looks like a perfect candidate for an infinite baffle. I've used the rule of thumb of 2x VAS for the rear airspace.

10x Vas is the minimum for a true infinite baffle setup. My current substage and my last 5(maybe 6 or 7, hard to remember) substages have been IB, and I don't believe any of them were "ideal" subs in the QTS department. My current sub(s) have a qts of .245 and a Fs of 26.5, which is very far from the ideal range of .650-.750 Qts.

I believe the Gcon would sound great in IB. Be careful with the power, and have a bit of EQ available and you should be fine.

Unless something has changed DD designs it's subs to be ported. The Gcon would be a better option for IB.
