I bought a sub from Ruckus over on ROE. Communication from him was pretty good, and he shipped promptly. I got the sub yesterday. Hooked up my multimeter to it, and one of the coils read 2.2, while the other read 5.8ohms. I was like WTF? I PM'd him to let him know what was up, and then called the number that was on the box to try and get in contact with him. I filed a DISPUTE with Paypal just in case. Our conversations via email were going nowhere, as he say's that when he shipped it, both coils read fine from his multimeter. I called the techs @ RE audio, and he told me that the coil that was reading 5.8ohms was burnt out, and this could not be something that happened during shipping. I filed the claim with Paypal about 2 hours ago, and about 20mins later this is the response that I get.........

Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User

Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It

does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods

received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a

refund.

So, be careful and weary of them, as anyone can claim to ship you something that's in perfect condition, and when it arrives to you, it can be a piece of shit. They in essence will not honor a claim on the arrival condition of goods. As someone else mentioned to me over on ROE, I guess I will be contacting FI about a re-cone kit.......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I got the same thing a few days ago.

It's complete bullshit.

I have a blown amp and they said the fault should be put on the company who shipped it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I am at a loss for words on this one........I can't believe they can get away with this crap. Anybody have any other vendor for transferring money that's not a rip off like gaypal?

sorry to hear about that man.. I was lucky, but very weary about ordering audio online.. i'm glad it works ok.. but I don't think i'll ever do it again.
