They predict if OPEC doesn't cut production by more than 4mbpd that it will fall to $25 a barrel. Only time will tell.

Currently gas prices are definitely at it's lowest we have seen in about 7 years. I don't think that it will stay this way for long, but I will not be surprised to see $1 per gallon again.

$1.80ish here.

I have to use premium.. not too bad though, at $2.07.

I heard when Obama gets into office he's going to try to tax gas $1/gallon to fund the research of new/alternative fuels... I doubt it will happen though.

Definitely. I still don't drive far, or unnecessarily fast. Even when I'm late I just take my time. No use in driving fast.

I made 10 gallons of gas last 3 weeks.

Back in High School, I had a real heavy foot. I was spending $10 dollars a day, which would equate to roughly 2-1/2 gallons. Heh. It was ridiculous, man.

Interesting note...

My friend noticed that once the Olympics ended, the price of gas lowered. He says that China was buying all the oil for the Olympics, so they boosted the price?

I'm not sure how true this is.

I'm in the dark about why the price of oil is going down.

I remember when it was $144 dollars / barrel. Now they think it's gunna get down to $20?! That's nuts. I just wonder why it's happening.

My alti only costed me in the teens to fill. But once I decide to trade in my alti I will be going for a V8 SUV. It did go down another dime in the hood to like 1.89. Im sure in the suburbs its like 1.60 or 70
