Garbage MA Subwoofer/Parts?

In the past week I have had my 2 MA Audio EHO152 subwoofers fail. They are being pushed on a 1 ohm load around 1800w rms for the pair and they are rated 2500w rms a piece (yeah right). So, the first one's voice coild seperated form the basket due to shotty glue, so used some CA glue. All good? Nah. Same subwoofer a few days later sounds funny. Took it out and notice that the voice coil spider is splitting near the cone. So I took it out and plan on repairing it. So, now it is only the one hooked up. Within the day I hear it pop. I take it out and what do I see? The cone cracked and the screen of the motor is detached because, once again, of faulty glue. These are not recones and have been gently used.

I contacted their Customer Support and get an oriental lady who cannot give me any type of support or information and told me to call back tomorrow.

Is this a normal wear and tear deal or are these some cheaply built subs?!

 
**** son like night and day right there.. I am not happy I sent them a nasty email and plan on writing a letter to emphasize this. I did plan on AQ before but found these locally for a great price. When I get ontop of osme more money I plan on getting something worthwhile. Which and how many AQ's do you suggest being run 2500w rms @ 1 ohm?

you can feed a hdc3 copper 2500rms on a clean signal. I have 2 15 hdc3 coppers off 2 aq 2200ds with 2 kinetik 1800s and a redtop in front. but im putting 2 800 kinetiks in that place soon. 1 mechman alt 158amps @ idle 260 amps 2k rpms. ext volt reg @ 15.3 volts. big 3 in 0 gauge. 3 runs of 0 gauge to the back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

 
I have 2 of the 15" XL models. I had them for 3 months on about 3/4s their rated and one cooked and siezed up on me. ROFL. Other one was still fine. I had to pay 25 bucks to them for shipping, and pay 25 bucks for shipping myself when i shipped it. Cool thing about MA is whenever something craps out they send you a new one, however i wont make a mistake buying their equipment again. I think the other one i have is gonna crap out soon too, coil is rubbing bad when you press on it lightly at an angle. Im gonna sell them off to someone local ASAP and get some other 15s or 12s.

Oh and about their cust service, dont even bother. If you deal with the same "anaba group" i deal with all youll be able to do is ship it back and get a replacement. It took over 2 months for me to get a replacement amp from them some time ago, i sold that brand new POS the day i recieved it back from them. lol

 
i found these locally for 200$ for both with enclosure so thought i couldnt go wrong. now, i wish i would've spent an extra 50-100 to get a AQ and be doen with it.. I have tried their CS for 3 days now without proper assistance.. how did you get your replacements?

 
You have to have a reciept or invoice from where you bought them. If you didnt buy them from a dealer or cant get the reciept youre ****ed. From there basically you call them and they send you an RA request form through email. When you get that you fill it out, send it back to them and they will send you an RA number, and instructions to ship the package back.

Thats what their RA form looks like. Contact them by phone and ask for a RA request.

 
I got them from a buddy who only used them a total of 2 months. i am not sure where he bought them from, but I will try to repair the one with the cracked spider, but the other one is useless and they cant help me without any type of purchase receipt with warranty info etc.
