I bassraced my system twice... Once with 1 sub and once with it all working. And trust me, it had wayyyyyyyy more than a 151 in it. With 1 sub and 2 amps it did a 145 Bassrace with some random bass CD some kid gave me. Only had it on a TL those 2 times and never even found the peak frequency. Batteries were drained from about 45 mins of demoing the time I bassraced with all of em. It definately had 154-155 or so Bassrace in it, I can guarantee you that. Ive heard so many cars around here that can do that, and mine was every bit as loud. It would have just taken time on the TL to figure everything out.
I wasnt talkin shit to you or anything like that, your last system was pretty cool. just sayin that mid 150s Bassrace nonwalled is ****in HARD. Be prepared to build a new box every weekend.

yeah, well.. i have sat in 160's, adn my truck sounds as loud.. so that means it is, right, right? (/SARCASM because good old chuckles doesnt apparently understand that either) upchuck- your idiocy knows no bounds, does it?
gmonk is just saying for daily. not many people have killer system for just daily. at most, built strictly for bassrace. but to me a bassrace system is daily enough for me. the 150 mark is not hard to pass, plenty of people have broke it with 2 12's

Exactly, thats all I was trying to say. You could build a box for 2 nice 15s like BTLs or RE MTs, run 8,000rms to each and bassrace a 150. You couldnt play it for more than the 30 seconds, but you could still bassrace the number nonetheless.
You CAN get some sick numbers if you go with the 4 18s, no question about that. All i was stating is that the 20,000rms you plan to run (unless Im mistaken), would be MUCH easier soaked up by 2 extra coils.

so.......you did 144 with an 18 and two amps where as i do 143.8 with a single 12 and a single amp and your raggin on my single 12?? lol that's funny right there.

It didnt "do a 144". It bassraced a 145. Big differece in my system averaging a 145 @ 33hz for 30 seconds with drained batteries in 115 degree heat and your 12 burping a 143.
And yes, it is dynamic, but put 8,000rms to something a BTL or MT and play Thug Motivation 101 and then Air Forces at full tilt, back to back with no pause. We both know what will happen. Its not the subs fault, or the users fault, its just that the sub was NEVER met to take that kind of abuse. Sure, it can take an assload for a burp, but a 5 second burp and 8 mins of heavy bass music are 2 way different things.
I guess we will see about this upcoming build he is doing. And btw, his last system didnt bassrace mid 150s. According to him, it was either 152-153. Still DEFINATELY a respectable score, but a 152 and a 155 is a huge difference in final scores in bassrace.

i don't see where i said burped it. try to read. that was on music. but good for you now that you can't even get a single 18 louder than a single 12 what are you going to do now??
