I do NOT recommend beast mode until you get the problem solved.

FYI...flickering on peaks, etc is ok. As long as it isnt on constantly..

you have to max out every setting on your HU and amp to hear anything
also try grounding your amp to your gas tank

Ya output is better now that i know the limits and what to tweak.

Ok so now that i know ~83 volts is where clipping light comes on. How the hell (wired at 4 ohms) do i get it to the 89-93 v range without clipping light going off.

am i going to have to wire down to 1 ohm and keep gains super moderate? Hit around 46 volts at 1ohm and have 2100 or so watts?

I'd personally wire to 1 ohm and set the gains with a dmm. Id rather have a 4k watt amp @ 1ohm, and only using 2k watts of the 4k than to have a 2000@4ohm trying to get 2k. But that's just me.

People like you have no business running equipment like that. You're going to hurt yourself, or worse, the equipment.

Have you tried tweaking the other settings you have? I'm not sure about your HU but on my Pioneer there are a bunch of settings: Bass Boost, Sub Freq. Boost/Gain, Loudness setting, 3-Band EQ, Parametric EQ Adjustments, SLA, Sound Retreiver etc...

All these will ultimately come into play when determining how much power the HU is outputting to the subs... try dicking around with your settings and then set your gains accordingly.
