gains up, sub not pounding

I dont know why you are stuck on setting the sub out at 0...

On any deck Ive ever owned, 0 = little to no output. I set my sub out at 3/4 of max.

Just try that..set your sub out to 3/4 of max, with gains all the way down, then adjust your gains using dmm..

What kind of headunit is this? im guessing Alpine? MAybe pionner

AVS is correct you must at least turn the sub level on,

Here is what i do.

Turn the sub level up on the headunit to 10-12 and then adjust your gain accordingly.

k put the sub out at +7 and at 27/35 volume it shows 82.9 volts, so 1720 watts at 4 ohms. and the clipping light is constantly on. and at 26/35 its not on. gain is about 60% or so

its a kenwood excelon model x-889
