gains up, sub not pounding

So you dont understand why having the gain maxed on the amp could cause a clipped signal..?Is there any reason you think you need the gain all the way up?

Just set your gains with a dmm...
If sub level is 0 and gain is MAX all i get is very little output from sub under 20/35 and ok output at 28/35 (my max for listening). So if i set with DMM and it turns out to be lower gain, how is that going to help me?

so say i set gain at 50% i will have to increase sub level to max just to hear any bass below 20/35. That doesn't seem right to me

I just dont get why you think a maxed out gain with a non-fade level of 0 is correct. Why dont you just set the gains right, and then if you still have the problem, go from there? You are clipping for a reason.

at mid gain roughly 45 volts. Im looking to get around 90 volts at 4 ohms to get 2000 watts..... not enough juice getting to the amp?
