G51 Batteries

Well i searched on Google and all i got was g31 and 34/78 batteries. I need a g51 to replace my stock old battery, its completely ****ed, started one day by jumping it, let it run for 20 minutes. turned it off, then the following day, same shit, had to jump it.

A g51 is a direct replacement without any modifications, so any help would be great.

Hmm, thats a D51, i need a Grp 51R, is there a difference, i seriously know nothing when it comes to batteries.

ah found it, i was looking for a group 51R, but it doesnt exist, its group 51R ( i need the reversed terminals)

Interstate, Diehard, and Optima (maybe available in a yellow top) all make a 51r. Wife's Civic needs the same time.

well optima no longer makes it, and there is a reason, they had a massive fail rate, that they discontinued it. so i am going with a die hard gold north, 79.99 cant beat it. they have the 51r and 3 year warranty ftw.

try the wal-mart everstart maxx. They are good batts and are around 68.99 with free install and 3 year warranty

Can you drop in a bigger battery? I'd check to see if you have some room available to make something bigger fit. Most sites list the size/specs for batteries, so you can see what will fit...

well i can fit a bigger battery, but i will need to do modification, did a search on club rsx. so i am going with the die hard, i heard good things about everlast as well. so i am not gonna waste the extra money on a optima or kinetic, and have to modify the bay.

anyways i am running a single 5 channel amp, not even pushing 1000 watts, i will be good.

the D in D51 probly means dual terminals. so if u neeed a g51 and one of the 2 terminals fits your applicaion, you're set.........just going out ona limb here...

yeah, i am staying away from the optima d51, heard nothing but bad things about that model, and being discontinued and recalled is more than enough proof.

i think the die hard gold is more than enough, then with the big 3, i should be set. but thanks for the input.
