Made it before I even saw this thread. I was sick of fake lyrics with played out beats for a while... so it made me hate G-unit.

all of you guys are stupid. everyone seems to be bashing 50, 50 is the man. ill admit i dont like the shit they play on mtv, but this is the only 50 you hear about. you should go out and listen to some of his other shit. banks is on fire. buck is doing it. tony yayo has some talent too.
banks is my favorite of out gunit. his flow and verses are unstoppable.

sorry, didn't mean what rap is actually all about. I meant more like what rap is about for me. I agree they are mainstream with weak lyrics. I like the different/texas (southern) style of chopped and screwed beats and slowed down lyrics. I did not mean at all that it is good true rap. I would say rappers like Nas, Canibus, Rakim and a few others are the best lyricists. I just love the southern thing for beats and flow.

yeah, my bad I wasn't paying attention to all the names I meantioned and was thinking of the Lil Flip vs T.I beef when I wrote that and firgured if I mentioned Flip I'd have to say T.I because he's destroying Flip. But it's still southern.

BTW, not arguing just defending my thoughts and clarifying what I actually meant.

No, when I said he can't rap, what I actually meant was.....he can't rap. He's a great writer, a la Sage Francis, and that's it. Both are abominations when they step inside a booth. Listen to some Brother Ali if you want all of those attributes packaged in someone that is actually a great rapper.
