i listen to all kinds of rap but if u call t.i mainstream and garbage u dont know much bro...i forgot the name of the mixtape but its where scarface hands the king of the south crown to ti, its a diss cd towards flip. its amazing work o nhis part with that cd.

as you people saying rap sucks now, i mean its not like how it used to be but there is alot of talent: cassidy, talib, cormega, alot of the dipset crew can actually spit some good stuff if they arent making up words, lil wayne, and mase is back... that diss towards jim jones wow he snapped, these are like the first 5 artists that were on my playlist lol... rap doesnt ****, you just have to look a little bit more to find good music.

Dude, no. Just... no. Mike Jones, T.I, and Lil Flip are not at all what rap is about. They are mainstream. Theyre lyrics arent true. Its all about money, cars, houses, *****es, hoes, and rims... Thats not rap man. I dont really want to get into this discussion, maybe tonight when im bored. But just letting you know, thats the truth. Let me know if anyone thinks im wrong.

sorry, didn't mean what rap is actually all about. I meant more like what rap is about for me. I agree they are mainstream with weak lyrics. I like the different/texas (southern) style of chopped and screwed beats and slowed down lyrics. I did not mean at all that it is good true rap. I would say rappers like Nas, Canibus, Rakim and a few others are the best lyricists. I just love the southern thing for beats and flow.

yeah, my bad I wasn't paying attention to all the names I meantioned and was thinking of the Lil Flip vs T.I beef when I wrote that and firgured if I mentioned Flip I'd have to say T.I because he's destroying Flip. But it's still southern.
