none of you are even remotely familiar enough with any theory in question here to discuss them as intelligently and you think you are. All of my rhetoric was to simply try to help SicAudio understand the difference between Webster's version and the scientific definition of the word 'theory.' And although I have studied theoretical and quantum physics, I'm not going to debate the merits of men who spent their whole lives studying the way the world works so that we may have a better understanding of the universe. Even if I do have something of substance or merit to contribute. Who am I to tell these men that they were right or wrong? Some of the posts on here sound as if they were personally the one to disprove Einstein or Newton. Bah, yeah, that whole gravity thing is a myth.

The scientific method is very structured in order to leave as little room for conjecture as possible. They don't just make some shit up and print it in the next issue of "Science."
