I called my insurance and asked them about my stereo stuff. They said with my policy and what not the stereo stuff is covered. Just take some pics and sent them to them, I also keep recpts for amps and such in my safe box.

I have full coverage with allstate.

I think even with an alarm thats almost $1K your still not protected, unless you have someone in your car with a gun 24/7 you are never really secure =(

Im always affraid someone will jack my stuff. I have a viper 771 and it has gone off in the middle of the night,but it was just rain.

Its sad we have to worry about our stuff getting jacked

Personally I have a sundown audio sticker on my car, but I live in the boondocks and a really safe town. Anytime I drive anywhere I'm paranoid about the sticker....

I live in a VERY small town less than 1500 people in a 30 mile radius and this guy locally has Orion old school amps, rf stuff, keeps up with the new stuff also.

ANY type of sticker is a bad thing to have. A morroso/ Rockford/ I like cookies sticker

ANY sticker with a name brand is bad to have if you dont wanna get jacked

yea but it just says atomic, nothing with speaker or audio but ya im not puttin sticks on my windows anymore. not in a city this small. people run their mouths too quick. and its easy to find out where someone lives cause people know people.

invest in a 30 dollar glass break sensor, or have them mount ur sensor better, increase sensitivity on it

i bet you a 100 i could break ur drivers window with porcelin without tripping ur alarm especially if u have tint, hell u are very lucky they didnt get ur shit

and if u paid 900 for an alarm u got ripped off i got a 7900 viper installed with the 4 window control modules, 8 sirens, glass sensor, b/u battery, piezo sirens interior, proximity sensor

and paid only 550 installed but i tipped him 50 for hiding the brain and running false wires and i got to watch and learn how everything works

and lose the audio stickers thats just scream rob me

def invest in the glass break sensor and the proximity dual field sensor dei makes

thay can be added to any alarm i also recommend a back up battery

u would be better off buying them off ebay and getting them installed cause the shop will prob rip u again

maybe 100 bucks +/- for all 3 shipped good investment if u are going to be having nice equip

but if i lived in alaska i prob wouldnt even have an alarm not much crime up there

yea thieves use that tool that paranoid people keep in their cars in case they roll into lakes- you just pull back and it shatters the crap out of the whole window instantly, then they must have like folded it up a little, it would be easy with ur tint and not have the alarm go off. That sucks- i just installed the glass break sensor on my friends car, havent tested it obviously but i think it just uses the same frequency as the glass break and it goes off, asianwolf.com sells them really cheap.
