probally no glass break sensor...about 95% of alarm installs don't have that....it has a small control box with a mic that detects shattering glass....most thieves know this a shark hit with a blunt object can shatter the glass...all the theif has to do is reach in and snatch and grap as long as they don't shake the vehicle....

yeah maybe the autoshop will install some sensors and shit and some horns/sirens this time. they better cut me a deal or put it on warranty or some shet

Sorry about the broken window but on the up side you still have your car stereo equipment. Check with your insurance company and see if they have a flat deductible for the glass it might save you some money. Time for you to add that glass breakage detector along with the microwave sensor to that "over priced" alarm lol Seriously, I'd have some major beef with the install shop, this just proves my point that shops love selling the "idea of security" but the product will only be a deterrent and nothing more. yeah i was talkin with my dad and he thinks the home owners insurance has a deductable of 500$ so i hope my window + matching tint will be more than that.

how long ago was the alarm installed? did you give the installer(s) personal info?

there are stories here of people taking their car to a shop to get an install done, and then the fckers copy the car key you leave and come stealz your shit

it was like 3-4 months ago i think? and i cant remember about personal info. im going to talk to them when they open at 9 am. its 6 am now. what should i say to them?

im thinkin of going in there as a potential "customer" lookin for a 2 way alarm. ill ask them if i buy the one i have (top of the line) what would happen if someone broke my back window to steal my audio. if they say the alarm will go off 100% of the time (to get me to purchase it) im going to say i actually have this alarm installed and my window just got smashed and i want to know why my shet didnt go off. and maybe have them pay for my f'ing window. or make them instal shatter sensors/ horns and shet. w/e i can get.
