sorry i thought you had a truck....sliding rear window? whats the benefit of that on an suv?
i've heard of this...if so the so called warning chirp might of been a disarm chirp....how long ago was the alarm installed? did you give the installer(s) personal info?
there are stories here of people taking their car to a shop to get an install done, and then the fckers copy the car key you leave and come stealz your shit
seems to be some finger prints on your ride under where the glass was, in the first pic. Just pointing that out.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifyeah i put alot of screws. i was going for the rough box look. rhino lined exterior w/ gold screws. i chose not to countersink and bondo the holes and cover the screws.
oh word!?another thing to know about is that there are cases where people will walk up to a car, get the VIN number, then call the dealership and say that they lost their keys and need a new one. The dealership then asks for the VIN number and says come pick it up, no questions asked....that way the thief steals your shit with keys! Some friends of mine tested it out on their own vehicles calling in anonymously and it worked.
yeah the cop brushed it with his volcanic ash power to make the prints visual, then he picked up the prints w/ tape and documented them.seems to be some finger prints on your ride under where the glass was, in the first pic. My cheapo Autopage 727 goes off too much. Isn't it a way to turn the sensitivity up or something?i was sound asleep i didnt even here my alarm go off. i think the little warning chirp went off once. i was sound asleep. this is top of the line 900$ 2way alarm w/ full color screen and everything.my dad on the other hand heard my car alarm chirp go off and ran outside. the 2 guys had my back window in their hands about to reach in and grab my w7 or my zx2500.1 which ever they could get to first. luckily my dad yelled at them to leave and they ran off. my dad chased them but they were on foot and ran quick. he's 55 years old so he's kinda slow. he got into his car and tried to search for them and so did my neighbor who is a tatoo artist. my neighboor saw the guy but cant really describe him. he hopped in his escalade on 24's and went searchin through the hood but didnt find anyone. cops took prints from my back door/hatch and my window. fvckin pissed guys. im goin to talk to the autoshop who ii bought this alarm from and see wtf the reason the alarm didnt go off when i back window was shattered. pics uploading
