Fusing second batt 3 ft away?

Ok then, so the system im installing will be using either a 300 Iraggi HO alt or a Mechman Alt havent decided yet. I am using the stock GM battery under the hood. I will be running kicker hyperflex 1/0 from the pos and neg on front battery to a bank of three yellowtops in the back. My system will be approx 6000 watts. What size fuses should I use Next to the front battery, and before the bank of yellowtops. And I will be running the amps power supplies distributed as evenly as possible coming off the three yellowtops. Do I still need to do fusing between the yellowtops and the amps or can the fuses in the amps handle this part?

250-300 amps

Clearly you don't understand the concept of system design. A larger fuse will take longer to blow and pass more current before it blows. A fuse that is rated at the maximum current draw (but less than cable capacity) will provide maximum protection to the wire and car. The difference between 200A and 300A is 50%. In a dead short situtation that could mean the difference between a small burn mark and a totally burnt car.No one is forcing you to do anything. I stated my opinion and that is how others prefer to do it as well.

There is no limit in the future. If you add more components in the future you simply adjust the fuse sizes to fit the new load. Fuses are cheap ($1-$3). Car fires due to aftermarket wiring is going to be real expensive.
OK, so if it takes so much more time for a 300a fuse to blow than a 200a fuse under a 500a load, show me a link to some research that proves your point. Show me one credible link to any research that would show that a 500a load would cause a fire if you used a 300a fuse and where that same load with a 200a fuse would not cause a fire.

Another side of this is what if he was running gear that could pull 300a? Would you still recommend that same 200a fuse? Would his wire magically be able to handle the 300a fuse now that he really had 300a worth of draw? Or is his 300a rated wire really only able to handle 200a?

You should just stop now before you really embarrass yourself. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. You are only going to confuse the noobs here that are looking for sound advice.

And before you start posting more pics of cars on fire, at least post pics where the fire had ANYTHING to do with car audio. REAL STORY LINK //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
