fusing at the battery in the trunk?

You want one in the engine compartment within 18" of the battery, one on the incoming input to the rear battery within 18", and one for the amps.

i went with 300a between the batteries (thats 2x 300a) and 150a going towards the amps.

so if i have this correct fuse in the engine compartment and run power wire to battery in trunk but fuse before connecting it at least 18 inches before, then from the batteries fuse it before the amps. so im going to have to have a total of 4 fuses. or could I use a fused distribution block and fuse only in 3 places

i've posted this a few times, but here it is again.

thats how mine is

I would fuse that wire going to the distro too, like he said if it freakishly comes out of the distro there is nothing stopping it from grounding and you then have some huge problems, if your distro is fused i would take the other 2 inlines out and put one on the other side of the distro
