I have a 12" Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection... and for now i can only power it with an audiobahn a4002t amp.. anyway, i had a 80amp fuse for awhile.. and it worked for a couple of days.. then it blew... so i got a 60amp... after about 2 minutes it blew... so i got another 60amp and as soon as i put it in it blew... any ideas about what it would be doing this? im running 4 gauge wire...

thanks

Remove the powe wire off of the amp and tape so it cannot dead short. Replace the fuse. If it blows, the power line is dead shorting somewhere between the fuse holder and the now taped end. If it does not, then chances are your amp is FUBAR.

do what forbiden said that should show if the wire is dead. and i doubt ur amp is pulling more then 60 amps i have 2 amps on my 60 amp and it doesnt blow. so either u have a bad package of fuses which i doubt or there is a short
