Can you use a fused dist. Block on your power wires going from battery to amp. Like this... use a 1/0 power lead wire from your battery to your fused dist. Block, then on the output side run your 4 gauge your amp. Im asking because I didn't want to go out and purchase a 1/0 amp kit when I already have everything I need. The fused dist. Block would act as a normal fuse on your power wire, as long as your fuse is large enough, say a 300a or bigger. My battery terminals wont take 2 4 gauge wires so I thouught of this. Please let me know if its ok

both cheaper and safer to buy the correct battery terminals. a fused distro takes up space, and very few are rated to be put in a wet location (underhood). most have covers that can pop off easily, which you don't want under a hood.

but yes, it will work electrically, for a while.

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...

Buy the 4 ch and keep the other. Usually on a 5 ch there isnt much of a substage, but there are a couple with a 1k @1ohm ch., but very few. A 5...
