Fuse Size (again)

it dose. and allso protect's whatever you are running with that wire..
my rule of thumb is at least half or all of the current draw of the amp..
Mine was 300 amp and my max amp draw is like 180 amps or something. But the amps have fuses too. I blew my 300a fuse from being an idiot.

Though I think it's not necessary, it provides power to 2 A/B class amps. One Kicker 300W@2Ohm monoblock and one Hertz 4x60W@4Ohm. Both are protected by internal fuses, kicker 2x20A, hertz 2x25A.

fuse size depends on the amount of current draw not the AWG of the wire
read/learn more. Type less.

#1 consideration is the size of the wire. You DO NOT fuse higher than the wire is capable of delivering regardless of the equipment being powered. You CAN just fuse 4 ga at 125A (its max) and call it a day regardless of what the current demand of the system is, but...

My personal opinion is don't fuse at the limit of the wire unless the equipment needs it.

If you have an amp that will draw ~50A fuse the 4 ga around 50A.
