Ok so today i'm looking for my multi-meter and can't find it anywhere. Well my g/f is like " I'm going to Wal-mart, you need anything?" So i say yeah, pick me up a new digital multi-meter. Now i realize that she has no idea of what that is so i tell her to go ask someone in hardware, that they would know. I tell her to make sure its digital. So this is what she returns with.....
now i'm like WTF? And she proceeds to tell me that the hardware guy told her that this is a multi-meter. So i jump in my car go to the wal-mart and head for the hardware area. when i get there i find this moron mixing some paint and i say "Could you point me to the digital multi-meters?" So he takes me over there and grabs the same thing. I'm like "This is just a circuit tester" and he says "thats all you really need" so i say "how do you know what i need?" and he says " well i used to be a certified electrician before i worked here and thats all i ever used" so i start laughing at him and say "well exactly how is this supposed to tell me how much resistance is on a circuit" and his response is "all you really need to know is if the circuit is broken or connected" So my final reply before walking over to automotive where they hang the DMM's at is" No wonder you not an electrician anymore" Then he casually strolls over to where i get the dmm and says "all you had to say is you wanted an electricity reader pal" and then he walks away.
