I did it to my mids and my subs. Not I have 8 mids and 4 ID8D2V3's. And since my subs are DVC 2 I really have 8 ID8D2V3's.

Its actually a very common misconception that dual voice coils double power handling, performance, etc. The only real funny part was watching him make this common noob mistake, and then brag he's been doing car audio for 20 years. He's probably like 24 years old.
