Funny CC story.

So I am buying 2 12" CVX subs and I want to sell my Polk DB212-2 before I make the purchase so I have Extra Money to spend after I buy these new subs. Well I have noticed for a while a noise like cone separation coming outside of the port. Over time it has gotten louder and I figured well if I am going to sell these why not get new ones with my warranty so I can sell for more and theres obviously something wrong with these. So I am at the install bay and i am talking to the guy and he tells me theres nothing wrong... So i re explain the problem and he says well... its because your trunk is open. now at this point i am more confused as to wtf he is talking about more than the BS lie he is trying to feed me. He goes on to tell me that when i play the subs with my trunk open the cone over excurts and it causes damage. Well I understand that the Air pressure levels will be difd so then i say ok...and people with Suv's... what do they do... your floor models... how many a day do you go through? and he closes my trunk and says " do you hear it now"? So i say "Uh, no. All i can hear is rattle what about you? and then he says " well what about if i took your backseat out." I say " idk i never took the time to unbolt it all so i could hear a sepereated cone. Anyways even if they weren't blown its still not working properly and i keep telling him this and he doesn't want to honor my warranty so we continue fighting until he says ok. it really pissed me off because A i bought the warranty so i could ****ing use it if my product failed to operate properly which clearly a seperated cone isn't working properly. And what really got me to laugh was when he closed my trunk and said "hear it now?" over like 80 dbs of rattle.

Eventually a new set. I would of preferred cash back but they don't do that. Not to mention he is like next time they need to be blown... Ok ill wire them to 1 ohm and blow them before i stop by then i ghues... ****ing idiot,

why didnt you just take the sub out of the box and see if the cone was separated?

I figured the horrible rattle was enough for CC to understand it was broken.
