just had a guy bring me 2 15" Power Base(ebay knock off of power bass) subs in a 1/2" Plywood box and say that they was 2 15" Power Bass Kicker subs in a $400 custom box and with a kicker ZX300.1 amp that would do 1200 rms LMAO wanted 300 for all of it.. LMAO

stupidest thing i heard was; some1 i met was telling me they couldnt figure out why their subs kept blowing. i took a look and he had 2 pioneer subs hooked up to a sundownz 3000d, no extra bat, not even a cap. i opened his trunk and saw this and just started laughing in his face

A friend of mine is going to Hartford U, and is studying acoustics engineering. (Basically, learning the physics behind sound waves and designing applications with this knowledge.) He then said to a friend of ours as our friend was wheeling his Bass Cabinet (Speaker cabinet for a Bass Guitar) that, "You should take off half the back. There for the speakers can breathe." When I pointed out that it doesn't work like that, he said, "DUDE! I'm going to school for this shit!" I went to explain the mechanics of a speaker, and I explained how you don't need to let the speaker "breathe." He then re-stated, "I'm going to school for this, I think I know more than you, dude!" I was like, "Alright, where's your argument?" He then said, AGAIN, "I'm going to school for this!" I face palmed and walked away.

Well there's your problem. Kid's an idiot. If it was going to be better if you did that then wouldn't the hundreds of other engineers who worked on producing that cabinet have thought about that same thing? He's not the smartest kid in the world so why would he believe that he thought of something so new and innovative.
