ford is gonna have those weird clips, you have to buy a $20 tool

at some parts stores you can rent em out....

Also, not all cars fuel filters are easy to get to.

I believe the focus' fuel filter is right under the drivers door, near the frame

a lot of cars use some sort of clips. Two smaller flat head screwdrivers usually work well for me. Not sure on fords though...

heat? like a torch? Now thats smart...i wouldnt even want to use a heat gun around a fuel tank

yup.. heat as in torch. Good luck getting some of them off without using heat. They tend to rust on pretty good.

its easy on a focus...just pull your fuel pump relay and run your car until it dies to get all the gas out of the line so it doesnt go everywhere in your hair and eyes...the clips are tricky but you wont need a "special" tool on your car. and its on the passenger side near the rear should be right behind the back door. I used to have a focus.

takes 3 seconds to put on, yes, get one

disconnect your negative terminal, release pressure on schrader valve, swap filter

that's what I did on my f150
