Today I turned on my car and there was no bass. I opened the trunk and noticed that my tire iron had come out from the net it was in and slid under the box (if this matters) and I took it out from under it, and the subwoofer started to play again. Well about half way to my work it cuts out... I get to work and pop the trunk, I took a look at the amp and shit and it all looked fine, but it wasnt working. The amplifier is turning on, not going into protect mode either. The speaker wires and RCA's are all connected and my ground is secure. Is there any way to check my amplifier to see if its fried? What else should I check.

See if there is voltage coming on the output terminals and go from there.

He said his ground was secure. Id check for voltage out of the amp like UCP said.
