In a test of the Dodge Viper, Chev Corvette, and Porsche 911 Turbo.

ONLY the corvette did what the spec sheets said it could. The porsche was about 30% below the specs, and the Viper was over 70% below the specs.

Woohoo! When the going gets rough you can count on the mentally feeble to start calling people names. Good job! Bonus points for completely mangling the word "inbred" by inserting one too many of the letter "E". One can only wonder what sort of rapid movements you were doing with your other hand... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

A real Porsche would be something along the lines of the 911 Carrera. Something that looks less like a Toyota MR2, Mazda Miata or Honda S2000. You know, something a lot less boxter-ish.

The only people (speaking of stereotypes) that you see driving Boxters around here -- when they aren't crusing around with their sisters and 3rd cousins in '78 Ford rustbucket pickup trucks shopping for the latest in gun rack accessories, you ignorant asspuppet -- are either blonde dingbats who's sugar daddy "hooked them up" or effeminate older men wearing drivers caps and scarves, out trolling the streets for young well-muscled latin boys that they can take home and bathe in baby oil.

Oddly enough, a recent Car & Driver article reported that this seems to be the case with the vast majority of male Boxter drivers. So, statistically speaking, you are either a blonde bimbo who gives it up nightly in exchange for a more elgant version of the MGB roadster OR you're an older man with a penchant for Ricky Martin and ... well, you know... you give it up nightly on the hood of your more elegant version of the MGB roadster.

Which is it, Buffy?

What basis do you have for either of those assumptions? Affording a Boxter would not be a problem for me. Wanting to be seen in one is a different story. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Out-accelerating a Boxter isn't that hard. Even your Civic [the ultimate sports car] could do it with a healthy shot of the giggle gas and a strong tail wind. Out-handling a Boxter might be a little more challenging [wait til I get you in the twisties, yo!!!] but not unrealistic.

Check out this link and read it with an open mind. A lowly Mustang can be made to out-handle even a German uber car for a lot less money. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

for that link, thats pretty impressive. but, if i were to look at it in a closed mind, i would say that for me to believe that, that i would need to see the same driver drive all of the cars. cuz the drivers could be different //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif but still..........yea

They are actully very decent subs. I set up a couple for a friend and they are alot more capable than other entry level subs like Rockford Fosgate, MTX, ext.. but it is all install you set anything up right it will sound good just a simple fact that the Jensen sub is a better all around sub than a MTX 4000 or a punch z and alot of others. I would compare the sound to a JL audio W0 with more SPL and I am serious but take your time with the sub casue it takes some tweaking.

just ask jlman taylor

In what ?

Anyways, the 911 Turbo beats the Corvette in the 1/4 mile ...

And if you're talking horsepower, I seriously doubt the Viper makes 135 hp (70% less than advertised)...
The tests involeved top end speed, HP, torque, fuel economy, handling, and overall performance

seriously guys, nuff stereotypes....

Is this guy not the most ingnorant *** ever? What the **** boxsterguy? Just because you can't afford the next step up Porsche doesn't mean you have to give teenagers sh!t. Just because they can't afford a 50k dollar car doesn't mean you have to give them sh!t. I don't have a mustang and I'll never want a mustang. I could afford one if I really wanted one but personally I think the Boxsters are so **** ugly. Don't even talk about not affording a fast car either. My mom just bought a supercharger, intercooler and borla exhuast on her car and it is running in the mid 10's in the quarter mile. So please shut the hell up about your **** Boxster.

P.S. and a T/A is just a souped up Firebird

Um last time I checked the ***** Am had 315 horsepower and the Firebird had 200 horsepower. I'd say and LS1 V8 is not a souped up V6. They're totally different. Souped up would be something like a supercharger or something.

Um..... the ***** Am is an f-body car with a larger engine and a better ******/gear ratio

So yes the T/A is just a souped up firebird.

The main difference between the two is that the firebirds could only get up to a 305 v8, while the T/As base engine was a 350. (1982-1992)

I want to be a poor man!
Let me tell ya something. I own a C2 and there is no way you can get 4 people in it. I would have to agree that I have had more problems from people in Mustangs than any other cars... Rednecks in camaros are a close second though...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif
