Fsd fz2600

Perhaps a silly question (but I'd rather ask and know for sure), would it be best to wire for 2 Ohm and set the gains down around the voltage for 1300W or should I wire for 1 Ohm and still set gains to that level? Want to avoid any possibility of clipping. To me, the best way to accomplish that would be 1 Ohm, but I don't know if there would be any disadvantage to that.
you can clip at either. Just use a digital multi-meter along with the proper test tone based on your music choices to set the gain.

 
1300@1 is the same as 1300@2. Which youll use all depends on your subs vc Configuration as id assume you know
I thought the amp would be more efficient at 2 ohms and would be a little easier on electrical? I know he has plenty of Alternator but wouldn't that at least be a difference
