The speakers are from my MKV GTI, and include the 7” woofer, 4” mid, tweeters, and (I think) the crossovers. They have all of a month’s worth of use. I doubt I’ll sell them on here, but figured I’d give it a shot.

They are packed up and ready to go, should be able to ship them USPS Priority.

$100 shipped, or best offer

The AudioControl 2XS is (I believe) first generation. I acquired it recently, but I never got around to using it. Still has the original box and instruction manual!

Ok, now you are thinking to yourself – is this guy a scammer? Yes, I have only a few posts, but I’ve bought/sold things online for years now. It’s only today I finally signed up at CA.com, after reading it for several months. The speakers are from my car, the AudioControl is mine, I can assure you of that. Please feel free to ask any questions. I have an ebay account, but I’d rather start here with selling them.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks bud.

I haven't really been trying to sell it all that aggressively; I guess it's a bit of a niche item.

The power light comes on, that's the extent to which I've tested it. I don't have enough patch cables to try it on my system.

The thing I did not like about this unit was the crossover point is fixed - unless of course you get different modules for the crossover and plug them in.

But what I do like about this is it's extremely clean, has a subsonic filter, and a line-driver. When I originally planned on keeping my OEM head unit, this was going to be part of the solution.

This thing is clean. Sure, it's probably 8-10 years old, but original box, original complete owner's manual, and it's AudioControl quality.

If you want it, I can send it out for you tomorrow!

Thanks.

I think he means the boxes that you think may be the crossovers. I have to run to the dealer to pick up a tie-rod end for my car and will check to see if they are crossovers. I know on my MK4 monsoon the xover was in the amp.

I am interested but will have to check with dealer first. I want to put them in my jeep but don't want to have to get a 3way xover //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The reason I think they are passive crossovers is because the OEM system in my MKV did not have an amp/signal processor. Nothing was under my seat, whereas others with MKV's did have the amp/signal processor with the stock "upgraded" system. As far as I know, the speakers ran off of the 2w x 4 head unit, and as a result were severely underpowered.

I had a Monsoon system in my MKVI with the same amp/crossover unit located back in the hatch compartment. That car was so much easier to work on car audio than my new one.

I'll look at these closer tonight and see if I can confirm they are indeed the cross overs.

Dangit, I was at the dealer today and forgot all about asking. I will call tomorrow morning but I have to work (kinda of). If you find any thing out, Let me know.

I am interested. But do not want to spend money on an xover for my jeep //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'll look at it tomorrow for ya. I'm way too drunk to check it out tonight.

Thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
