ok, the coils are all fine, but both of the cones are shattered. new cones at PAP w/surrounds are $15ish iirc. I can probably pull the surround with just my heat gun. but I think the cone may have to be dremel'd down to the voice coil former. which I could do if I got some bits. but if I go thru with swapping the cones and testing them to make sure they work fully since it'll take my time the price will go up...

asking $50ea+ ship approx $38ea just sent a 12" recone and it was $36 wiht no basket so I'll probably loose money on shipping it like the recone... Robot Underground charges $100ea for the baskets alone from an email I got. and like I said, these will be fine if you swap the cones. I just have alot of subs sitting around that need recones including a pair of AQ HD3s so I'm not too interested in fixing them.

the durty coil works fine, got it like that when I bought it and never had a problem with the coils.

you can see the creases in the cones, that's where they're internally shattered the honeycombs. I can make a vid of it if someone wants...

I happen to have two neo motors, yes. there is a reason they aren't listed here... here's one reason, I just got a top today bnib, went to test it and the spiders/spacer broke loose from the landing...

so I'm waiting for my 5 minute epoxy to set to retest and see if I'll need to reglue it with gorilla glue... gorilla glue will hold for sure as I've used it for spiders on a DD that had the same problem. just whether I want to glue it 1st or try it 1st is the question.. the other still has a 10" top non/LA on it that's fully functional and I'm not too interested in tearing apart the perfectly good FI recone that's on it.. these pix are about 4hours ago my time. I just tore the spiders loose about 10 or so minutes ago on my 1st real test run... I posted this stuff fs before my top blew the spiders. but if someone buys them before I find out if my fix on the new top works, I'll still sell them. if everyone waits I'll probably pay for my cones and repair the 15"s, I have ported boxes for 15"s just sitting anyway and the HD3s I can recone to 15"s too. the boxes are solid too, all were built for my 4hp and I used it in all of them. and it's actually currently in my wife's car in 5 cubes ported after displacements tuned to 28hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif so at the end of every day I have alot more subs than I know what to do with.. so in short, no I don't need to sell these and no, I don't really need them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif luckily for me today... just a pita to pull stuff in and out on a regular basis

just something that won't add to my pile of sh!t just laying around collecting dust LOL
