Well the bad news is that it has a burnt voice coil, but the good news is everything else is in tact! It'd be perfect for someone that knows how to fix these subs. I believe it's a TC 2000 motor. Pretty beefy sub, I really enjoyed it. But since the voice coil needs replacing, I've gotta move on to something else.

i paid $20 shipping with insurance for one from new york from an excellent seller. heck i paid $45 for two from Los Angeles

I must have misunderstood you. I thought you meant 20 with shipping AND the sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif but if you meant shipping alone for the sub, then yeah that sounds about right.
