Sold FS: JL AUDIO ZR800-CW *" Midbass drivers

For SALE,

A like new set of JL AUDIO ZR800-CW 8" midbasses. I only used one for testing and the driver was not screwed down in the enclosure. These have very respectable midbass output, don't need a ton of power(125 watts x 2 max), and have a managable mounting depth, and also have grills included. These would work great for a free air install in a door or rear deck with a lot of space. Looks like I am going to try a kick panel install and I am not sure the high Q of these will work so I have another driver in mind...that is why I am selling.

how did it fare against the SLS? whats going in pods xls?

I found both drivers to be similar in sound and output. The SLS had a little more of a dry quality and the JL was a tad bit livelier. The ZR800 I don't think will work that well in a pod unless it is vented to the outside. The JL is GREAT for IB in the doors and the rear deck however. The SLS I think might work in a large pod? I might play with the SLS or the TRIO8?
