Item(s) for Sale: This is a motor and basket for an ID Max 12" V2, Dual 4 ohm. The motor uses a 2" coil with an extremely tight gap. This is the V2 with the triple magnet slugs.
Item(s) Description/Condition: This is a used item. You will see slight discoloration on the magnet slugs, the sticker on the back of the motor is starting to peel, and this is NOT recone ready. You will need to clean up the goop on the spider landing and surround landing still. It has two notches for terminals on the basket, but the plastic ring that comes stock on the ID Max to hold them is not on this basket. You could glue terminals to the notch's or simply do a direct lead. You will also see a very small amount of oxidation of the pole piece vent.
Please know this, you CAN NOT get a recone from Image Dynamics for this sub anymore. On the V2 subs, the dual 4 ohm ones have a tighter gap than the dual 2 ohm subs. Image Dynamics no longer carries the coils they used on the dual 4 ohm versions, so you will either have to have SPLaudio machine the top plate to make the gap wider, or find a coil that will fit this tight gap.
In short this is a used motor and basket, so it shows signs of wear and tear but is 100% functional. It's only cosmetics. This would make an awesome custom 8" sub.

I'd like to get $75 plus shipping, but am also open to trades for other motors. In particular 3" motors that don't have insanely tight gaps. I may also be interested in mint TC Sounds TI baskets, 12" or larger.
