The rules state you have to list prices.

ESX V550.2

RMS: 300W at 4 ohms

Peak: 550w @ 4 ohm bridged

Frquency Response: 15hz - 40khz

Channel Seperation: 90dB

Minimum Impedance: 2 ohm / channel

Gain Sensitivity: 150mv - 9v; 40Kohm

Dampening Factor: 400 (wtf?)

Variable Subsonic Filter

HPF / LPF filters

16.1 in x 2.6 in x 6.2 in

I found these specs for you amplifier at this address. I'm guessing that the rated power is taken bridged at 4 ohm, making it about about 100 to 150 wrms per channel @ 4 ohm.

From the specs on paper, it's either hyped or one of those German "golden ear" amps for people who think they can tell 0.1% THD from 0.2% THD. I hope this helps.

"ESX was conceived in 1996 and we built only one run for them and then they went belly up. The amps I designed for ESX were way too advanced for the car stereo market."

Ahh, so the latter. =)

So now we know the ESX V550.2 is not a hyped amplifier and is actually manufactured by Zed Audio! Who knew? If only it weren't the holidays and I had money.
