You may have seen this before, or on ebay. I have been haphazardly trying to sell it for a few months, but now I have an urgent need to.

There is a small scuff on the right side of the amp. There is some black silicone dried on the ES-620 tweets, and one of the cages for the crossovers is missing. The EF-61's are new (they didn't fit in the rear of my F150). Everything works great, and I have a complete wiring set you can have for it too (free of charge, since it was used...knuconceptz 1000w 4way kit).

I have pics of everything, and you can pm me with an email addy. Since I have few posts, I respect that makes it difficult, so I am more than willing to exchange phone numbers, or even meet in person.

I've been asking for $1200 for everything, but haven't gotten any interest. Since I need the money, I'll remain open to reasonable offers. I would be interested in any SQ quality 2x amplifiers, but that would be all right now.

I looked around and found the amp new for $280, and the speakers new for $180. So...$450 shipped with a wiring kit?

I believe these are actually the 2002 model speakers (the non-transient optimized x-over). The x-over is marked as ES-1980, but I couldn't find any info on that through google. Did you have any interest in the Upstage? I was hoping to keep those too together, for shipping costs (shipping the upstage alone makes it almost not worthwhile). I was hoping for $450 shipped for both, but if you only interested in the one, maybe $375.

With the exception of the Glide touch, it's a good deck. The glide touch thing, to me, is much too annoying to use, especially while driving. The Glidetouch also has some issues with the cold.

Other than that, I have heard of people that have problems with the CD load, and the screen tilt, but I have never had either of those problems. The sound from it is good, and the tuner works well. I've never used the built in EQ, so I can't say on that. I believe it has only 2v preouts, but the sound quality was good none-the-less.

what the hell does glide touch control?

Sounds to me like this would only be useful in a luxury car... not a lowered sports car

Well, you could put it in whatever you want...I had it in my tow rig, that I traveled cross-country with.

The glide touch controls things like menu choices, eq selection, tuner presets. Little things, that sometimes you'd like to change, but thats made difficult by trying to navigate all the way through with a heat sensor. Unless you can completely memorize all the functions.

How did that MB Quart amp treat you? Nice clean and reliable?

Actually, yeah, it was awesome. I was leary at first, because at the time I bought it it was $600, and the word on the net was that it was being made by Fosgate. But, I went for it, and it sounds great.

My personal choice, though, is to use it's Front End Defeat, and get an aftermarket EQ, but I am picky.

Other than that it sounds great, puts out what it says (I had it at 4x100 @ 4 ohms), and never gets warm. It is larger than some amps I've used (PPI and Zapco), but I was happy with it.

So if you wonder why I'm selling this amp I like: I sold the truck I had it in, and I can't install anything into the new truck till it's paid off. Since I'm having trouble making the payments, I'm trying to sell everything I own to keep my truck.
