Sold FS/FT: 18" Eclipse Ti Pro (TC 5200)

I have a 18" Quad 1ohm Eclipse (Fujitsu ten) Ti Pro that was OEMd by TC Sounds. The sub has the removable top assembly. It has been sitting in my garage awaiting a HT build all year but I have invested too much time into other things and do not have the time to finish this build while I am attending school. I would like $450+ shipping and am also very open to trades if you have something that catches my eye. The subwoofer is in near mint condition, the cone has no dents of scratches and the motor has very few minor scratches on the bottom which are hard to see.

probally where it arrived, youve had mad stuff shipped through there right? odds are one or more of youre packages has probally came through there damaged and had to be tapped up/repacked. so one of the package handlers knows youre address and knows you get alot of subs/amps and audio equipment through there and has been waiting to make his move. all they have to do is damage the box get the QA clerk to ''repack'' it and make the switch. or it could be the driver all he would have to do is wait till he's on the road and make the switch, cause it dosent look like that box wnt to far with that gallon of water in it.

That is a good very point! This guy has the most knowledge about how thewhole shipping process works, and if he says that it could easily be done, then that is deffiantely a possibility as to what happened. Yea anyone who doesnt know the shipper or receiver can make any assumptions they want, but i know the receiver well, and he wouldnt jeaprodize his name in SPL for a measly $450 SQ sub.

they have to be elaborate because there is alot of cameras in the terminals, its not one person job. theyve been waiting to make their move, a 24lb sub is alot easier to get out of a building than a 50-60lb+ sub

This is really in Matts hand as I believe it happened near or in the desination, i almost guarentee that bottle of water would have sprung a leak if it happened very far from Matts apt.
If nothing is found out, I will not argue it is my loss. unfortunately.

im not on anyones side more than the others, but that reused gallon jug of water would not have made it from the cayman island to WI unopened. about the first time that it was pushed it off of the 3 foot tall conveyor belt it woukd have busted open imho

Matt can you put some pressure on the driver/hub?

I plan to contact the hub tommorow. Not sure how to get a hold of the driver other then when the next package comes in which will be a newegg order i put in this weekend.

By pressure you mean a glock to the head right?

right now I really feel like kicking the shit out of the UPS guy when he comes with next package but I can not be so sure it was him, it could have verry well been the hub.

Again I appreciate the cooperation as I feel Im in a really shitty/sketchy position right now. I will do what ever I can to make things right, I plan to call in between classes tommorow and get to the bottom of this as fast as I can. I will not let this slide as I know in the same situation you would do everything in your power to make right for me as well.

I too dont expect the package could have made it very far either. The thing that baffles me is they did a great job retaping it, ive been looking and can not really find any signs of where it was retaped.

I will have the same batts again this spring, I will cut you the best deal possible but this has just begun beleive me. I will have my way with UPS or they will be hearing from me for literally weeks. I dont give up specially on such a lowlife move.

Lets see what I cant get taken care of by the UPS company. The TI Pro is still sitting in my room, like I said I have no use for it. It is not going anywhere and that is a promise, this situation will be taken care of. I wont simply let it end like this, its unacceptable.

Well how i see it ...

First on The shipping of the sub. I have to say looking in from a outsider I dont see how a 17lb sub bouble boxed/bubble wrapped/ and stuffed with packing peanuts comes to 24lbs. Also the fact that it was still full of peanuts when it got there is kinda shady also. If the boxed was opened in tranit then there would be cut tape some where on the box replaced with more or you would be able to see where they ripped the old tape off. But that is a ups store label not a home printed on which means it was most likely weight at a ups store. I would check to see.

Secondly, Its just makes it impossible to fully give the reciever 100% credit since he wasn't the one who signed for the package. I hate that ups does this and will deliver to anyone in the house but they do.

There are many indications that ups could have tampered with the package but it will take alot of convincing and evidence. There are cameras and i would go to the extent to trying to figure this out.

Why kmanian is going to take a loss idk i mean being out a 450 dollar sub and going through the tuff times you had been having in the past i would be trying to do as much as Bumpin when trying to figure out what is going on here.

Not really sure how far I have gotten today. I have contacted the UPS hub in Janesville, WI. I discussed the situation with them and they took down the tracking number. They said they would "look" into the situation but I told them that was not good enough. They said they would call me back when they found out more, this was around 3pm, have not heard from them since.

No one is pointing fingers just stating opions from an outsiders view from seeing/ reading this thread. I would like to see this get resolved and it being a ups fault and not either Bumpin or Kmainian. Both guys got hella refs and a rep to protect on this forum i doubt either is willing to risk over a single sub.
