I'm going to be honest with you, these speakers are not in very good condition. This would be a good place for people that are looking for components that they do not want to display.

The UR6 midranges, when first installed, were put into the doors. The stock mount of the door had screw holes that were about 1/8" too big for the speakers, so three out of four of the holes were cut to fit precisely.

The speakers were in the doors' stock location for about a month, then they went into the same position in front of 1.5" of MDF.

About two months later I fiberglassed some kick panels for them, and they went into there behind a black grill and has been there for a decent time. The DLS UR6 midrange sounds completely awesome in a kick panel.

The UR1 tweeters that I have have gone through quite a bit. When first installed, the tweeters were mounted into the door, and tightly. Too tightly. After a couple months, cracks came up on every single mounting hole of each tweeter. While the tweeters were in the door, the right tweeter was damaged due to an incident beyond my control. The grill was pushed into the silk dome tweeter and completely broke off, and the silk dome was bent slightly toward the inside. However, this has not caused ANY change in sound reproduction at all.

The whole set, as aforementioned, is not in good shape. The crossovers are perfect, and that's about it. I don't have the mounting feet (i might; i'd have to find them deep in my basement). I still have the UR6 grills, still NIB. The mounting bracket (for mounting through something such as a door panel) has encountered a bit of bondo.

I really don't know what to ask for this set. I've put it through hell, but I did drop $500 on the component set, plus shipping, about 9 months ago.

I don't want to uninstall the UR6's unless i'm sure i'm selling them, and they are behind the grills. But take my word, the only thing wrong with those are three out of four mounting holes have been slightly clipped to fit my mounting holes. The tweeters I can take pictures of, if you would like them please PM me.

The reason I am selling them is that I'm doing a SQ comp install, and for looks I need to have good-looking tweeters. New UR1 tweeters can come from their only dealer in Florida, for $150 plus shipping. For that price I would rather see how much I can get out of this set, and buy a completely new set for my listening pleasure.

Here's a pic of the whole set from the dealer's website.

I'd like any offers at all for this set. Lots of people can vouch for them sounding as well as they should... mainly Mike (I want seXXX)

Thanks

Brian

well, i drove around in his car for a couple of days, and let me tell you - i was astounded at how much midbass those things pushed out. just make sure you can supply them with 125~150 watts and put those mids in a sealed box.

im not sure how they look (because they were in grills) but that set sounded great.
