also is it just a simple 2 wire hook up?

The cover of the package is clear, so what you see on it is whats wrote on it. They are black. And I would assume you could paint them. Never gave it any thought, but the bezal is just plastic. Shoot me a pm for my paypal if ya want one, it will get shipped the next day!
