I'm thinking of selling my Z1 and upgrading to a newer model DD amp. This just came back from repairs (Amp Repair Center Ohio) but unfortunately they didn't fix one problem. When I turn the car on and off, theres a LOUD thump that comes from the subs. I tried everything possible to fix it but I'm pretty sure its a defect in the amp itself. I was told its 2 capacitors in the amp that needs to be upgraded. I'll take pics as soon as I can cause I know people will dump on my post about my post count and whatnot. I'll also get the pics of the caps that need to be replaced. As for the price, I haven't thought of one yet so if you have a price in mind, hit me up. Btw, I'm located in Hawaii so shipping will kind of hurt but I'm willing to work on the price. I'll also take a pic of the reciept for the repairs. I'll also send it to the buyer (if I find one).

How's about $600 plus shipping? I'm losing out since the amp cost me $850 shipped then $300 to repair not including shipping to and from the repair center. If not sold soon, I'm gonna just replace the caps and keep it.

i got a transisitor, a diode and a cap on my remote line for turn off, i did external cause iwasnt sure if its the head unit or amp i will be trying a diff head this week when it arrives, and as far as 100uf i usd a 220uf 25v or somethin, 220uf=2.2 second off delay

mae the external one first, go to radio shack get a tip42g(transisitor), a cap your choice of delay time, 100=1 sec,200=2sec, u get it right?, and then a diode i used 1n4002, get 3 fuse holders , 2 buss 1.25x.25 with 1 amp fuses, and a regular atc i think fuse holder witha 30 amp fuse......

sit the transistor down 3 prongs toward you, exposed meter tab side down black side up,there shold be a b (left),c(center),and e(right) on it near the terminals not allive seen had it tho.... take the + lead off the cap and twist the diode , with the stripe side towards transisitor together , solder it, also solder a extension for ground off the - side of cap also. next take the peice ya soldered, the + side of cap, solder that to the first pin in the transisitor. from the other side of the diode , solder a buss fuse holder in for the 1 amp fuse. no the center pin on the transisitor gets a 1 amp fuse also, use the other buss fuse holder. solder that on. now from the remaining lead off the transisistor, solder it to the 86 pin in 5 wire relay, youll be using all but pin 87a. now from the relay 30 goes out to the amp, 85 gets ground, 87 gets a 30 amp fuse . and then the fuse holder inline with the diode goes to the remote from cd player..... hope it helps i couldnt find the diagram or it would be a lil easier.... saves 30 bucks or more tho buyin a pop stopper......

when im done i tend to epoxy it together seeing i dont use bread boards....
