I'm parting out my old car and am looking for a new home for the HU. It's a Pioneer DEX-P9 that has been modified for a remote mounting of the faceplate. This was done by my friend Omar Buker about 5 1/2 years ago and it has worked flawlessly ever since. The extension is about 18-19", but is done with a pair of 9-Pin D-connector cables and can be extended further using a pair of serial cable extensions. I did it once and added another 3' with no ill effect. The chassis is a standard cage mount and was mounted low on my dash with the CD's loaded through a piece of aluminum I machined a slot into. Additionally, the faceplate was taken apart and repainted a semi-gloss black. The "Premier" badge was re-applied using a drop of CA glue. This was also done about 5 years ago and still looks good. I will include the two aluminum trim rings if the buyer wants them.

I'm asking $500 OBO
Also, since I'm new to this forum, you can check out my ebay feedback under jmp485 or ask around the Car Sound forum or the Zapco forum, where I used to be a mod.
Thanks for looking.
